Alleged Hatfield Cocaine Dealer Wanted by Lansdale Cops

Lansdale Police are seeking the public's help in locating Mark William Gross, 21, formerly of Hatfield. In 2011, Gross assaulted his then-pregnant girlfriend in Lansdale

The Lansdale Police Department is seeking the public's help in locating an alleged cocaine dealer from Hatfield who police say sold the drug in the Lansdale area.

A felony arrest warrant for Mark William Gross, 21, formerly of the 1000 block of Stoneham Circle, has been issued by District Judge Harold Borek, police said.

Gross is also wanted by the Montgomery County Adult Probation Department for a probation violation.

Gross pleaded guilty in 2011 to assaulting his then-pregnant girlfriend in Lansdale.

In September 2012, Lansdale Police received information that Gross was allegedly selling controlled substances in the Lansdale region, police said.

Lansdale Police used a confidential informant to make a purchase of cocaine and Xanax allegedly from Gross in October 2012, police said.

As a result, Gross was charged in December 2012 with felony possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance, two misdemeanor counts of possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanor receipt in commerce of a controlled substance and misdemeanor possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia, police said.

Police have attempted to locate and arrest Gross at various locations in the North Penn area without success, police said.

Police are asking anyone with any information regarding the whereabouts of Gross to call 215-368-1801.

Gross pleaded guilty in Montgomery County court in April 2011 to a simple assault charge from a January 2011 arrest in Lansdale Borough, according to court records. He was sentenced to two years' probation.

In January 2011, Gross pleaded guilty to corruption of minors from an April 2010 arrest in Hatfield Township, according to court documents. He was sentenced to three years' probation and a maximum of 23 months in prison in April 2011, of which 100 days were served.

To all the ignorant people defending this guy, please move out of Lansdale. We don't have the social programs to support you and your family. I will support raising local taxes so that we may employee more police and force you out by economically challenging your poverty level existence. I realize times may be tough, and this is not personal, but we do not want you here.
