A Lansdale resident, who was initially under investigation by Souderton Police for alleged marijuana sales in Souderton, was arrested and charged Dec. 7 by Lansdale Police for allegedly dealing marijuana from her Penn Street residence.
Jennifer Victoria Crawford, 22, of the 100 block of Penn Street, is charged with felony manufacture, delivery or possession of marijuana with intent to manufacture or deliver; misdemeanor posession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of marijuana, according to court records.
Crawford was arraigned Dec. 7 before District Judge Harold Borek and remanded to Montgomery County prison in lieu of $10,000 cash bail, according to court records.
Crawford posted bond on Dec. 10, according to court records.
A preliminary hearing is set for Feb. 12 at 2:15 p.m. in Lansdale.
In July 2012, Souderton Borough Police initiated an investigation on Crawford after receiving information that she was allegedly selling marijuana from her apartment on the 100 block of West Broad Street in Telford, police said.
During the investigation, Crawford moved to Lansdale.
In October 2012, Lansdale Police Street Crimes Unit members continued Souderton Police's investigation on Crawford.
Between October and December, Lansdale and Souderton police conducted surveillance of Crawford's residence in Lansdale for alleged marijuana trafficking, police said.
Police also conducted controlled purchases of marijuana from Crawford at her home, police said.
On Dec. 7, at 6 a.m., narcotics agents from Lansdale and Souderton police executed a search warrant on Crawford's home on Penn Street.
Seized in the search were marijuana, about $350 in cash, a digital scale and numerous assorted plastic bags, police said.
