Supporters of the Cannoneers Club and its youth football association can check out some first-round playoff action this weekend and root for some youngsters when the 120-pound and 105-pound tackle teams battle in away games.

The 120-pound team plays Pennridge at 8 p.m. Saturday at its football field. Get directions at this link.

The 105-pound "Green" team plays Marsh Creek at its field at 3 p.m. Sunday. Check out directions at this link.

These two teams are two of four competitive level teams that have advanced to the playoffs, according to Brian Wolfinger of the Cannoneers.

"We have had teams advance to the playoffs each year for over a decade," he said.
