Consultant Chosen For 311 West Main Project
AMS Research and Planning brings 23-years of experience to the borough.
Following a second round of requests for proposals by the 311 West Main Task Force, Connecticut-based AMS Research and Planning has been selected to help determine the fate of the former Lansdale Performing Arts Center.
According to a report by Dan Sokil at the Reporter, the task force unanimously approved the selection during Monday night's task force meeting, and borough council will vote on the matter during their next meeting which is scheduled for March 21st at 7 p.m.
The first request for proposal resulted in presentations by two separate consulting firms, but the task force steering committee rejected their proposals in December, choosing instead to pursue additional options through a second round of RFP's.
A total of eight consulting firms responded to the second request for proposal, but with 23-years of art and cultural development experience it was AMS Research and Planning who won over the steering committee.
