Anthony John Zanini, 34, of Farragut Avenue, also violated his parole, police said.

A Bristol man was sent to Montgomery County prison following arraignment Tuesday on a felony receiving stolen property charge by Towamencin Township Police for allegedly driving a car stolen from Coatesville, police said.

Anthony John Zanini, 34, of the 1400 block of Farragut Avenue, was allegedly driving a gold Infiniti sedan reported stolen on May 7, police said.

Police stopped Zanini at 11:52 a.m. on Liberty Bell Drive near Independence Drive for an expired registration, police said.

The Infiniti was impounded, police said.

Zanini remains in prison, in lieu of $25,000 cash bail, police said. A preliminary hearing is set for June 25 before Lansdale District Court Judge Harold Borek.

In October 2011, Zanini pleaded guilty at Bucks County Court of Common Pleas trial to theft of movable property, receiving stolen property, and disorderly conduct for fighting, stemming from a May 2001 arrest in Bristol Borough, according to court records.

Zanini was sentenced to a maximum of 23 months in prison, but received credit for time served, per court records.
