Corpus Christi Catholic School + St. Maria Goretti School = Most Blessed Sacrament Regional Catholic School

The Archbishop of Philadelphia has given the Amen on the new name of the combined schools.

Bradley Schlegel of The Reporter Online reported Tuesday that a press release released Tuesday afternoon from the school’s Regional Implementation Team – consisting of parents and parish officials – said the name “defines the Eucharistic foundation of the Corpus Christi and St. Maria Goretti parish communities.”

“We thought this name made the most sense,” said Amy Herron, parent at the school and a member of the team, according to the story.

The story reports that an open house for new students and parents will be March 25 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
