Duke the Yellow Lab is Montgomeryville-Lansdale's Top Dog

With 39 votes, Duke is the top dog in our Montgomeryville-Lansdale contest

It was a ruff race, but it's official - Top Dog in Montgomeryville-Lansdale is Duke, the red-bowtie-wearing yellow lab.

With 39 votes, Duke (#13 in the competition) clinched the local portion of the photo contest. His photo was submitted by Mike Murray.

In close second with 28 votes was Nala, a pit bull (#23).

Jack, a beagle, (#2), was third with 20 votes.

Duke goes on to compete in the regional photo contest, with voting running from July 9 to July 20 and taking place in the comments section of the article.

On July 23, the five regional winners will be unveiled, and they will face off to become Greater Philadelphia's Patch’s Top Dogfrom July 23 to 27. The winner will be announced July 30.

Look for great prizes at both the regional and Greater Philadelphia levels.

Between June 19 and July 3, our users voted in the comments on which dog is Montgomeryville-Lansdale's Top Dog.

Congrats to Duke and thanks to all our readers who competed in the contest!
