According to court records, Towamencin Township Police on Dec. 14, 2012, received referral from Montgomery County Office of Children and Youth of a report of alleged sexual abuse involving a nine-year-old female in Towamencin Township.

Police said that prior to 2009, the alleged victim lived with her family in Ambler Borough. Prior to Dec. 14, 2012, the girl disclosed to her mother that Adams-Smith had allegedly been touching  her private areas and doing "bad things to her" on numerous occasions over a span of time, according to court documents.

Adams-Smith was a juvenile at the onset of the alleged offenses, and was an adult at the time of the last offense, police said.

Police conducted an interview with the alleged victim on March 21, 2013, according to court records. She described years of sexual abuse allegedly committed by Adams-Smith that began when the girl was still wearing Pull-Ups at the age of four or five, according to court records.

Police said the abuse continued over the years until the last alleged offense in Summer 2012.

The alleged victim described alleged offenses involving the fondling of her genitals and anus, anal intercourse, Adams-Smith masturbating and ejaculating in her presence and making the girl touch his penis, according to court records.

The alleged victim said the alleged offenses occurred within her home in Ambler and later in Towamencin, according to court documents.

The girl told police that the alleged offenses also occurred at Adams-Smith's home in Morgandale, according to court documents.

Adams-Smith allegedly told the girl not to tell anyone what happened, according to court records.
