Felony Child Endangerment Charges Held Against Towamencin Mother

Christina Fitzwater, 32, is accused of abandoning her children on a blistery January afternoon, after they showed up under-dressed and unoccupied at Pudge's Steaks in Kulpsville

Two felony counts of endangering the welfare of children and two misdemeanor counts of recklessly endangering another person, as well as drug charges, were held over for county court against Towamencin resident Christina Marie Fitzwater, 32.

A preliminary hearing was held before District Judge Harold Borek of Lansdale on Tuesday afternoon.

At the hearing, Susan Cluff, a waitress at Pudge’s Steaks in Kulpsville, and Towamencin Officer Jamie Popovice testified on the details of the incidents that occurred Jan. 15 that led to Fitzwater’s arrest.

Fitzwater, of the 1500 block of Dean Drive, Towamencin, was busted two days in a row - the first for allegedly abandoning her children with a 12-year-old and the second for an alleged hit and run.
