Fire Relief Fund Set Up for Harris Family

The North Penn School District and North Penn High School have immediately set up a relief and recovery fund for one of their own.
North Penn High School art department chair Joanne Harris and her family lost everything in a Monday morning fire at their home at 119 Bellows Way in the Heather Knoll develpoment in Montgomery Township.
The district and high school have established the "Harris Fire Recovery Fund" at the TD Bank at 1490 Valley Forge Road, Towamencin.
Friends and co-workers of Harris can contribute cash or checks to support her and her family's needs in the upcoming months.
Donations can be given directly to Denise Leach, secretary to the principal, in the main office of the high school at 1340 S. Valley Forge Road.
Donations can also be sent to or deposited at TD Bank at 1490 Valley Forge Road, Lansdale, PA 19446.
A statement by North Penn School District said gift cards will be accepted, as there has been an expressed desire to donate them.
Checks should be made payable to “Harris Fire Recovery Fund.”
Montgomery Township Director of Fire Services Rick Lesniak said the investigation into the cause of the fire continued Wednesday.
