Bridle Path Elementary celebrates a Martin Luther King Jr. Day event today
1. Bridle Path Elementary students take part in a Martin Luther King Jr. Day event from 9 a.m. to noon. They will be stuffing bags with a variety of breakfast foods to donate to North Penn Boys and Girls Club, Manna on Main Street and Lamb Foundation. At noon, all bags will be delivered to the three locations via bus.
2. The Pennsylvania Democratic Party holds its winter 2012 state committee meeting in State College at The Penn Stater Hotel, 215 Innovation Boulevard. There will be a candidate forum at 6 p.m. and there will be a social at 8 p.m. with Chairman Jim Burn.
3. The Montgomery Bar Association’s annual business luncheon meeting takes place at Meadowlands Country Club in Blue Bell at noon. Today’s meeting will feature the installment of Donald J. Martin, Esq., a sole practitioner and Pennsylvania legal consultant who practices in Norristown, as the MBA 88th president.
4. Tonight is International Guitar Night at Sellersville Theater starring Adrian Legg, Lulo Reinhardt, Marco Pereira and Brian Gore at 8 p.m. Tickets are $25 and $40.
5. Lansdale Library will show its free Friday Night Movie at 6:30 p.m. The movie is “Super 8,” Rated PG-13 and running 113 minutes.
