Five Things to Know Today: Jan. 21

Lansdale Little League wants you to play ball this summer

 

1. Lansdale Library will host a Cavalcade of Magic, beginning at 10:30 a.m. Several magicians will be appearing (or disappearing?) to perform their special tricks.

2. Lansdale Little League holds its walk-in registration at 9:30 a.m. to noon at Lansdale Parks and Recreation, 660 Lansdale Ave. Cost is $105 per child, $150 for two from same family and $180 for three from same family. Registration is open to boys and girls, ages seven to 12, from Lansdale and North Wales boroughs, and Montgomery and Towamencin townships.

3. North Wales Library holds its annual library gala from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. It will celebrate the successful rehabilitation of the former Koaxis Inc. factory into the new community library in the heart of North Wales Borough.

4. North Penn Athletics Booster Clubs host an evening of comedy with Jimmy Carroll at 8 p.m. at The Rodeway Inn (formerly Quality Inn Conference Center), 969 Bethlehem Pike, Montgomeryville.

5. Sue Foley & Peter Karp will bring the sizzling slide blues guitar to Sellersville Theater at 8 p.m. Tickets are $19.50 and $29.50.
