“A Night at The Sands: Music, Laughter & Drinks with Dean Martin” takes place at 2 p.m. at the Pennsylvania Performing Arts Academy Cabaret, 125 S. Main St., North Wales
1. The former West Point Genuardi’s at Sumneytown Pike and Church Road in Upper Gwynedd opens today at 8 a.m. as Giant Food Store
2. “It Was a Very Good Year … A Musical Tribute to Frank Sinatra” starring Tony Sands is at Sellersville Theater at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $25 and $40.
3. “A Night at The Sands: Music, Laughter & Drinks with Dean Martin” takes place at 2 p.m. at the Pennsylvania Performing Arts Academy Cabaret, 125 S. Main St., North Wales. The cabaret is on the second floor of the academy/dance studio. Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the door. The role of Martin is played by Michael Patrick Dominick, and the show is a one-act musical comedy variety performance reminiscent of Martin’s Vegas shows of the 1960s.
4. Molly Maguire’s in Lansdale has traditional Irish sessions today at 3 p.m. A group of individuals come in and play music together. Children eat for $1 with the purchase of an adult entrée.
5. There’s an open guided meditation hour today from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the North Penn Sahaja Meditation Center in Lansdale.
