1. Tonight is Mom’s Nite Out at Montgomery Mall, part of a nationwide event, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Attendees can participate in an free evening filled with refreshments, entertainment, fashion and beauty services. The event raises awareness for Dress for Success, an international nonprofit organization offering services to help underprivileged women find jobs and remain employed.
2. St. Stanislaus Parish School and St. Rose of Lima Parish School – soon to be Mater Dei Catholic School – will hold a community day outreach today from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. for the fifth and sixth grade children. It is an opportunity to meet new friends, share a snack and participate in preparing snack bags for children who eat at soup kitchens.
3. Coldwell Banker Realty Corp., 600 E. Main St., Lansdale, holds a Real Estate Career Night at 6:30 p.m. at its offices. The free event is for those who are considering a career in real estate or experienced agents looking for unlimited income.
4. Montgomery County Community College’s Student Support and Referral Team and the Montgomery County Department of Drug and Alcohol, in collaboration with The Council on Compulsive Gambling of Pennsylvania, are presenting “Problem Gambling and the College Population” today from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the college’s Advanced Technology Center, Room 101, 340 DeKalb Pike in Blue Bell.
5. The Little Builders’ Club meets at 4:30 p.m. at Lansdale Library. Children of all ages can come and build with various Lego and K’NEX blocks.
