Lansdale Library dedicates its community room today in memory of late resident and volunteer Lynn Janoff
1. Lansdale Library will honor the memory of resident and volunteer Lynn Janoff with a 3 p.m. dedication of the new Lynn Janoff Community Room and unveil a plaque in her memory.
2. Lansdale Farmers’ Market holds a Harvest Festival today from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Activities include children’s storytime and crafts, music, a kids’ costume and photo booth, canning demo and Applesauce 1-2-3. Enjoy a grilled sausage sandwich made with ingredients from local growers and bakers. Sip a sampling of beer from Round Guys Brewery. Tickets are $10 at the market table and proceeds benefit the operation of the farmers’ market
3. Village Tavern holds a second annual Octoberfest Benefit today for the North Penn Valley Boys and Girls Club. The fun-filled event features games for children and adults, such as dunk tank, moon bounce, pumpkin decorating and more. There will be live music by The Insiders.
4. North Wales Elementary holds a mommy market today at 9 a.m.
5. North Wales Library, 233 S. Swartley St., North Wales, holds a book sale today from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
