Illegal Alien Faces Charges in Hatfield Assault, Allegedly Had 'Rambo' Knife

Illegal immigrant Elias Castro-Martinez, 38, of Honduras, is headed to trial on aggravated assault, terroristic threats and identify theft charges in Hatfield Township, following a Tuesday preliminary hearing at Souderton district court.
According to PhillyBurbs.com, the suspect was using a false name and Social Security Card belonging to a woman from another state.
According to the article, Castro-Martinez allegedly assaulted Orlando Alvarado Castro in their Penn Street apartment on Nov. 17.
When Castro refused to go to the bar with Castro-Martinez at 5:30 p.m., Castro-Martinez allegedly punched him in the head, according to police.
Castro-Martinez then left the room and returned allegedly holding a Rambo-like knife, the article said.
Castro was allegedly dragged by the suspect, but he broke free and grabbed a chair in self-defense, according to the article. He escaped out a broken window and fled to a neighbor’s home.
Castro-Martinez faces 10 charges at his formal arraignment: felony first-degree and felony second-degree aggravated assault, terroristic threats, possessing an instrument of crime, three misdemeanor simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, false identification to police and identity theft, according to court records.
