Lansdale Man Injured After Falling Off Ladder

The homeowner was flown via PennStar to a regional hospital for treatment

A Lansdale man fell from a ladder onto a woodpile while assessing storm damage to his Columbia Avenue home Wednesday morning.

According to The Reporter, the owner of the home at 900 Columbia Avenue fell shortly after 8 a.m. onto a pile of limbs and branches cut from a large tree that had fallen onto the home during Hurricane Sandy.

The homeowner was taken by Volunteer Medical Service Corps to Moyer Road, where PennStar airlifted him for treatment to a regional hospital, according to the article.

Patch has identified the homeowner as former Lansdale Democratic Committeeman Rege McKenzie.
