Lansdale Reunion Cruise Brought Out the Town
The second annual event, organized by Bill Henning, Deb Henning, Ray Liberto and Tara McNally, along with Discover Lansdale, harkened back to the old days of cruising Main Street in downtown Lansdale
The second annual Lansdale Reunion Cruise on Saturday night brought out the town in a revival of a popular pasttime that, until last year's inaugural event, had not been see in the borough in close to 20-plus years.
According to Liberto, there were 106 drivers/cars that registered for the event. While signups started at 7 p.m., cars rolled in around 6:15 p.m.
There were classics and modern cars ranging from 1950 to 2013. There was even a short bus cruising Main Street.

I do not recall seeing any advance information on this event. Would have loved to known about it ... would have been there!

Wow that's a memory of old days. Even though my friends and I went to Upper Moreland HS we used to all pile into a group of cars and head out to Lansdale to make the giant circle. Up to the 7-11, turn around, back down to the gas station, hang a right, up to the far shopping center, turn around and go back the same way. We used to drive that over and over and over every Friday night moving along at 5mph blasting some painful rap music. ahhh the memories.

I read the patch every day & didn't know about it until that day! I would have liked to go too! Need more & better advertising I think!!!! Couldn't hurt.
