Lansdale Teen Charged with 2006 Rape of 8-Year-Old Girl

A Lansdale teenager has been charged with 33 criminal offenses — including 28 felonies — involving the alleged statutory rape and indecent assault of a teenage girl that began when she was eight or nine years old, and he was 12 years old, in June 2006.
Timothy Patrick Dunigan IV, 19, of the 700 block of Columbia Avenue, is charged with the following offenses, allegedly committed between 2006 and October 2012:
- Four felony counts of rape of a child
- Four felony counts of rape - threat of forcible compulsion
- Four felony counts of statutory sexual assault
- Four felony counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child
- Four felony counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse - threat of forcible compulsion
- Four felony counts of sexual assault
- Four felony counts of aggravated indecent sexual assault of a child
- Four misdemeanor counts of indecent assault on a person less than 13 years old
- One misdemeanor count of terroristic threats
Dunigan IV was arraigned Nov. 23 before District Judge Harold Borek. A preliminary hearing is set for Jan. 10 at 2:30 p.m.
Bail was set at 10 percent of $50,000 and $5,000 cash was posted by a relative on Nov. 23, according to court records.
According to Matt Coughlin of The Intelligencer, the victim was allegedly molested when she was eight or nine. She filed a report with police this month.
According to court documents, the alleged victim is now 15 years old. She told police she was forced to perform oral sex on Dunigan, according to documents.
According to the affidavit, Dunigan allegedly threatened to break both of the girl's arms so she couldn't fight back. Dunigan allegedly told her the assaults would get worse if she stopped the alleged trysts.
According to the article, Dunigan was interviewed by police and admitted playing doctor with the girl. The assaults began when Dunigan IV was a juvenile, according to the article.
Dunigan IV has retained child advocate attorney Ethan O'Shea of the law firm Hamburg, Rubin, Mullin, Maxwell & Lupin in Upper Gwynedd.

That doesn't have anything to do with it. Look at his name. The family is in good with the judge most likely. The family name is a well known name. There was a man in September who was charged with rape of a 14 year old girl, not as many charges as this teen, and his bail was $50,000 CASH!!!!! Don't tell me it's because innocent until proven guilty. It's all in who you are and who you know in this case!

I've gone to school with him since kindergarten, and this is awful to read. While he didn't turn out to be a great person in high school, I never thought it was this bad. Even though he was my friend when we were younger, I hope he is charged for everything he did. There is no excuse for this. However, I do believe he cannot be charged as an adult. This obviously occurred during puberty, and strange things happen at age 12. Again, there is NO excuse, and he absolutely should be convicted, but he should certainly be charged as a minor.

Sadly for this victim, this punk will probably NEVER see a jail cell. You kidding me? Look at his last name! They dominated the sport of swimming for Whites Road and NPHS! His uncle is on Borough council and the rest of this family is well known. He totally humiliated his family. He may have committed the crime but his name will help him NOT do the time!

I have to agree with you John, nothing probably will happen to him and that's a shame. Just because of who he is shouldn't matter but it does. I live in the West Ward so I know how big this family name is. I've read here and on Facebook he was a child when this happened, why is he being charged as an adult? YO Peeps!!! It went on for 6 years up until 2 months ago. He is now 19. which means 2 months ago, he was no younger than 18 and was 18 for oh, I don't know A YEAR!!!!! So, for a year he did this as an adult. I really hope this judge has some common sense and forgets that fact that he is good friends with the family and holds this up to common pleas or gives this to another judge because he cannot make a rash decision. Otherwise, the victim will get no justice at all and that is just a crying shame and that my friends, I will remember come election time for both Borek and for this chumps uncle! Sad shame! I'd say he ruined the reputation of his whole family in my book.

Upper Providence police have announced the arrest of a Collegeville man over the weekend for allegedly sexually assaulting a twelve-year-old.
Raheem Smith-Little was arrested early on January 13, 2013 for the alleged attack. He was charged with rape of a child, corruption of minors, stautory sexual assault, and a laundry list of other crimes.
The victim's identity is being withheld due to their age.
Smith-Little was arraigned and remanded to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility in lieu of $250,000 bail. He will face a preliminary hearing on January 23, 2013.

Borek did something illegal to me. I. Did not realize it until another judge told me it was illegal. He can not be trusted.
