Love Stories: Happy Anniversary 'Sonny' and Dee
We asked Patch readers to share love stories for Valentine's Day. Joyce Kulp shared the love story and photo of her parents, Leo aka Sonny and Dee Szymanski, who celebrate 60 years of marriage today

There's nothing better than marriage on Valentine's Day.
Reader Joyce Kulp, of Lansdale, shared a love story, but it wasn't her own. This love story was of her parents, Leo (Sonny) and Dee Szymanski, of Lansdale.
"My parents are celebrating 60 years of marriage today!" Kulp said. "They are the best two parents and grandparents in the whole, wide world."
Kulp said Sonny and Dee met in Ford City, Pa., located an hour outside Pittsburgh.
"That was 60-plus years ago," she said. "The rest is a storybook of love!"
