As we near Christmas in about two weeks, mark your calendars now for upcoming Toys for Tots donation events and visits from Santa Claus.

Here’s a look at what’s happening in and around our area.

• Coldwell Banker Realty Corp. will hold a Holiday Open House and Toys for Tots donation Saturday and Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day at its location at 600 E. Main St., Lansdale.
  
  Santa will be there as well and parents can get a picture of their children with Santa for free.
  
  People are asked to bring a new, unwrapped toy for donation.

• Giant Food Stores has partnered with U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program to provide local children with a new toy for Christmas. Up until Saturday, customers can bring a new, unwrapped toy to the collection box by the customer service desk.
  
  Customers can also purchase a paper candle for a $1 donation for the Children’s Miracle Network. The campaign ends Saturday.

• Montgomery Township has a collection bin for Toys for Tots in the lobby of the township building at 1001 Stump Road in Montgomeryville.

• Lansdale Borough has a collection bin in its vestibule for Toys for Tots at borough hall at 1 Vine Street in Lansdale.

• Santa Claus will make his rounds to neighborhoods in Montgomery Township on Dec. 24, beginning at 2 p.m.

• Santa Claus will make his rounds to Towamencin Township neighborhoods on Dec. 17, starting at 9 a.m.

• Towamencin Police Department will host Santa Claus at its location at 1090 Troxel Road on Dec. 18 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
  
  Visitors can also bring a new, unwrapped toy and canned foods for donation.

• In continuing its “Holidays at the Homestead” tribute to Mayor Mike DiNunzio, Lansdale Historical Society will have an encore of the collection of Mayor Mike on Dec. 17 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Jenkins Homestead.
