1. The Biblical Call

Where/When: Branch Creek Community Church, 100 Main St., Harleysville; March 17-19

Why go: Biblical Seminary will sponsor a lecture series, “The Biblical Call: A Christian Response to Human Trafficking and Sexual Abuse.” The series will feature leading Christian thinkers in the fields of theology, culture, science and the arts to address current cultural issues in a public gathering, and to participate in a Q-and-A session. 2. Friday Evening Movies

Where/When: Lansdale Library, 301 Vine St., Lansdale; March 18, 6:30 p.m.

Why go: Friday Evening Movies at Lansdale Library will feature Glory this week, rated PG-13 with a running time of 102 minutes.

3. Raw Food Pot Luck

Where/When: Arnold’s Way Café, 319 W. Main St., Lansdale; March 19, 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.

Why go: The Raw Food pot luck dinner will feature a guest speaker who will discuss experiences with raw food lifestyle changes and benefits.

4. Kinky Quizzo

Where/When: Bones Grille, 1650 Sumneytown Pike, Lansdale; March 22, 8:30 p.m.

Why go: Kinky Quizzo adult trivia takes place every Tuesday night at Bones Grille. It’s free to play, and $150 worth of prizes will be awarded each week to the top scoring teams.

5. Multicultural Film Series

Where/When: Montgomery County Community College – West Campus, 101 College Drive, Pottstown; March 23 at 12:30 p.m. and March 25 at 8 p.m.

Why go: As part of its ongoing Multicultural Film Series, MCCC will screen Gods and Monsters, the 1998 film exploring the final days of James Whale, a prolific director in the 1930s and 40s, revealing the history of the troubled relationship between Hollywood and homosexuality.
