Moyer's Road in Lansdale was lined with cars Saturday morning.

That could only mean one thing - Little League baseball season is upon us.

The big event in Lansdale began with a parade and welcoming ceremony at Moyer's Road Park, emceed by Lansdale Little League president Mike Gilbert.

From there, boys and girls of all ages dispersed for food, fun and America's favorite pasttime.

The weather held out for opening day and all were jubilant that summer is right around the corner.
