What's the Best ... Family Restaurant?

Where's the best spot to eat with your family? Voting ends at 9 a.m. Friday

This week, our Readers' Choice series wants you to think with your stomach.

What do you think is the best family-friendly restaurant in our area?

Maybe you like the hometown taste and cooking at Roy Ann Diner in Sellersville?

American Star Diner in Montgomery Township is 24 hours. Convenient? Family friendly? You tell us.

The Sharp Family puts passion in its meals at West Main Diner. Do you agree?

Pumpernick's is known for its deli, restaurant and pickle bar. Does your family like it too?

Perhaps you prefer chain restaurants like Applebee's at Ralph's Corner or in Montgomeryville; Chili's in Montgomeryville; or Friendly's in Montgomeryville and Lansdale.

Italian cooking and family go hand-in-hand. There's Valentino's Bistro in Lansdale, for instance.

Don't forget Giuseppe's Pizza and Restaurant in Hatfield - wings to die for. Is their family appeal also to die for? Let us know in the poll.

Other pizza restaurants like Vinny's and Main Street Pizzeria are favorites of some readers.

Michael's Family Restaurant has the word "family" in its name. Do you agree?

Voting ends at 9 a.m. Friday. We will present a certificate to the winner and post the winning restaurant at noon.

In the event of a tie on our survey, we will break the tie by counting the positive comments written below about the tied businesses, so please let us know why you think your choice is best.

If you think we are missing a restaurant, tell us in the comments and we’ll add them to the poll.

And, please, debate/argue/praise/criticize your favorite place below.

Does the Main Street Diner still only except cash? It was frustrating last time I was there and I didn't realize that. Had to use their little ATM machine there with a ridiculous service charge.

Yes, we currently only except cash. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.

I think the level of service and quality of food overtakes any inconvenience with a two minute wait for the ATM. I highly recommend this place.

Yes. As far as I know, they still just accept cash only.

American Star has always been nice to our family. Giuseppe's was another place we always felt good taking our kids to, plus beer (makes Daddies happy).
Roy Ann? That's not Lansdale! They do have great service and prices. If you are up in Sellersville, I recommend the R&S it's cheaper and they have biscuits.

Good food and friendly service makes THE SUMNEY TAVERN a really good choice.
