"I'm promoting the Physical Therapy and Wellness Institute," said Danielle Taylor, who has worked at the Lansdale branch of PTW for two years. "We actually talked to everyone earlier today during a presentation called 'Joints are Jumping,' which focused on staying active, regardless of how old you are."

Additional presentations included a demonstration on how to use The Reporter's website, directed by Assistant Online Editor Andy Stettler, and the increasingly popular "Cooking with the Cardiologists," hosted by Dr. Joe Kraynak and Dr. Jonathan Albin from the Cardiology Consultants of Philadelphia.

"We've had seminars all day, and we still have the cooking for the cardiologist coming up. They usually get a great crowd," said Dena Fritz, publisher of The Reporter.

Barrymore Award-winning actor Tony Braithwaite entertained visitors with his unique brand of comedy and impersonations, and a dozen senior dancers from the Tappers hop-skipped their way through the afternoon.

On the rear patio, table games and slot machines were available for those who dared to tempt Lady Luck, while Reporter staff writer Brian Bingaman supplied a steady flow of live music.

Event organizers were pleased with the turnout and said the expo was a complete success.

"It was a very good turnout.  Usually we get a big burst of people in the morning, but this year we've had a steady flow of visitors all day," said Fritz. "We've had an action packed day, and the expo has really branded itself into a really nice show here at the Pine Crest Country Club."

If you missed the expo, The Reporter has video available on its website.  Otherwise, just wait for next year's expo, as the event shows no signs of slowing down.

"It's a very successful event, and we hope to keep it going for many more years," said Fritz.
