A Honda had two of its wheels and Uniroyal tires stolen overnight June 27 to June 28 on the 1500 block of Morgan Way in Towamencin, police said.

An officer patrolling the area on June 28 at 4:30 a.m. was summoned by a newspaper deliveryperson and was informed that they saw a vehicle jacked up on a piece of fence post with both driver's side wheels and tires missing, police said.

Upon finding the owner of the car, the officer confirmed that the wheels and tires had been stolen, police said.

Police valued the wheels and tires at $1,000.
