What's In Store For Mother's Day Weekend

The special holiday couldn't have picked a better weekend as sunny and warm weather will take over the area.

Any plans for your loved ones this weekend? Well any outside festivities will not be a problem.

A large high-pressure system will move back and forth from the Ohio Valley to the southern Mid-Atlantic states for the next couple of days giving us gorgeous weather.

Starting today, mostly sunny skies will dominate with some breezy conditions left over from yesterday. High temperatures will hug the 70 degree mark with a west northwest wind at 10 to 15 mph.

Temperatures will quickly drop into the upper-40s tonight because of clear skies. Expect calm winds throughout the night.

For Saturday, sunny skies will be great for the West Chester graduation ceremony as well as any outdoor activities. High temperatures will soar into the upper-70s with calm winds.

Mother's Day will be nice early, but may be dampered by cloudy skies in the afternoon. High temperatures will be like Saturday peaking into the upper-70s.

Some showers are possible in the evening with a mild low temperature around 60 degrees.
