State Representative Elect Brian Sims and Equality PA President Adrian Shanker to host a fundraiser for Will Sylianteng on Oct. 3

Montgomery Township, PA.  The Will Sylianteng campaign for State House is proud to announce that State Representative Elect Brian Sims, who will become the first openly gay legislator in Pennsylvania, will join Equality PA President Adrian Shanker in hosting a fundraiser for Will Sylianteng on October 3.  The event will be held in the Sylianteng for State House campaign office in downtown Ambler, PA.  RSVPs are encouraged by emailing sabrina@vote-will.com.

"We are thankful to have the support of the LGBT community and they have my support.  As a Commonwealth we must do a better job making sure all of our citizens, without exclusion, are protected from discrimination and we, as both a Commonwealth and a country, need to recognize the injustice that occurs when we allow another day to pass without making marriage equality a reality." - Will Sylianteng

Will is an Equality PA endorsed candidate and is running for State Representative in the 151st State House District (Montgomery Township, Horsham Township, Ambler, Parts of Upper Dublin, Abington and Lower Gwynedd).  His website is www.vote-will.com.  Follow him on Twitter and Facebook at @vote4will

You don't get it, do you Mr. Sillyteng. Mr. Stephens is a moderate Republican that represents the whole community. While you may not agree with some of his votes, he does not force his agenda on us. I could care less if Mr. Sims is gay, what are his policies for all of us, not just the very small minority of the gay community. Just becasue these people shout loud, does not mean that we all hold (or even the majority) those views. Go run in Berekley. If you win, will you be as invisible as Ms. Schwartz???

Well, one thing's for sure. Curmudgeon isn't invisible. He spews forth his anger and hatred incessantly. Is there ever anything else? Maybe he was too busy planning his next rant to watch Congresswoman Schwartz address the Democratic National Convention recently. For her proud and respectful constituents and millions of people across this nation, she's hardly invisible.

@Marjorie: I didn't think my comments were hateful. Ms. Schwartz will not debate Mr. Rooney, nor do a town hall meeting. I look at what she does, not what she says, just like I look at Pres. Obama and what he does not what he says. When Obama ran for President, even to me, it was a delightful change from Pres. Bush, his speachifying was wonderful. In the past 3 1/2 years he is shutting won industries through the EPA all in the name of green energy. Ask the UNION Miner in WV or PA, who they are voting for, ask the employees of Portland cement, who'se doing theire jobs?? Unions are irrelevant if there are no jobs. And lighten up a little. PS, who did Ms. Schwartz's nip/tuck, she looks mahvalous!!!
