A Sellersville man admitted to partaking in a "hobo tradition" when he was caught vandalizing two trains with graffiti the afternoon of May 27, according to Lansdale Police. On May 27 at around 4 p.m., police observed Matthew Gerdes, 31, of the 400 block of East Park Avenue, Sellersville, allegedly writing on a boxcar on the CSX rail line on West Fifth Street, police said. An officer approached Gerdes, who was allegedly still holding a black Markel B paint stick and producing a white one from his pocket, police said. A 29-year-old Towamencin man was arrested and charged with alleged drug dealing following a four-month investigation by police. Prasad Miyagi Subramania, 29, of the 200 block of Adams Road, Towamencin, was charged with possession with the intent to manufacture or deliver a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, receipt in commerce of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and endangering the welfare of children, police said. A Towamencin man was arrested and charged May 11 with burglary and other violations in connection with an attempted burglary of a home on the 400 block of Cedartop Court in Towamencin. The suspect is currently out on bail. Kamrin Lenn Crooms, 20, of the 500 block of Blackmoor Court, Towamencin, was charged with criminal attempt/burglary, criminal trespass, possession of an instrument of crime, and tampering with or fabricating false evidence, police said. LANSDALE Man exposes himself to teenage girls Police said a man exposed his genitals to two teenage girls May 4 in an alleyway behind Whites Road. On May 4 at 3:57 p.m., police received a report of an incident in the alley behind the 300 block of Whites Road. Two females, aged 13 and 15, told police that a white man, described as about 30 years old, with no facial hair, wearing a dark blue or black baseball cap that covered his hair, a dark blue hoodie, a plaid vest and blue jeans, pulled his genitals through his zipper, police said. Towamencin Township Police and Montgomery County District Attorney Risa Ferman have arrested a Hatfield man in connection with a March 23 hit-and-run at Forty Foot Road and Tapestry Way. Mukesh K. Shah, 54, of the 100 block of West Vine Street, Hatfield, was arrested March 28 and charged in the hit-and-run that critically injured a Korean pedestrian, identified as Esther Lee. Lee remains at Abington Hospital in critical condition. Shah is charged with accidents involving death or injury, false reports to law enforcement authorities, unsworn falsification to police, recklessly endangering …
A New Jersey man and former police officer pleaded guilty March 17  to robbing seven banks, including a TD Bank in Towamencin on Dec. 9, 2010. Carl Holliday, 33, of Vineland, pleaded guilty before U.S. District Judge Edwin Kosik to committing the robberies in Pennsylvania and New Jersey between July and December of 2010. Holliday also admitted robbing a Rite Aid Pharmacy in White Haven, PA, according to U.S. Attorney Peter J. Smith. The guilty plea carries a maximum penalty of 160 years in prison for all offenses, followed by a 24-year term of supervised release and a $2 million fine. …
A Lansdale woman remains at Montgomery County Correctional Facility for her alleged involvement in a stabbing in an apartment above Junction House Pub early Saturday morning in Lansdale. Renee Tucci, 31, of the 100 block of Walnut Street, is charged with aggravated assault, reckless endangerment, possessing instrument of a crime and related charges, police said. Tucci was arraigned before District Judge Cathleen Rebar, and bail was set at $50,o00 cash, police said. Tucci failed to post bail and was taken to prison. Towamencin Police said a suspicious circumstance occurred March 2 at 3:50 p.m. in the area of Rittenhouse and Bustard roads, near Towamencin Vol. Fire Co. Police said a 15-year-old girl was walking from her home on Candlewood Way to a friend's home, when she noticed a black four-door sedan with rear tinted windows driving slowly. The driver, a white male in his early 30s, attempted to get the girl's attention by honking the horn several times, police said. An 18-year-old Lansdale high schooler was arrested Feb. 17 and charged with simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct, Towamencin Police said, following his involvement in a fight in the hallway of North Penn High School. Demetrius Anderson, 18, of the unit block of West Fifth Street, was arraigned before District Judge Harold Borek and committed to Montgomery County Correctional Facility in lieu of $25,000 bail. A Lansdale man, arrested during a separate warrant arrest, was charged with simple assalt, harassment by physical contact, recklessly endangering another person, disordelry conduct, criminal attempt to commit aggravated assault and resisting arrest, police said. Police said Michael D. Rosenberger, 47, of the 1100 block of Columbia Avenue, was arrested on evidence of an assault at a home in Inglewood Garden Apartments in the 1100 block of Columbia Avenue. Rosenberger was arraigned by District Judge Harold Borek and committed to Montgomery County Correctional Facility in liue of $25,000 bail. …
