During the 18th century many women used fans as a way to cool off when the weather was hot, to express a par-ticular political viewpoint or to show off their rank in society. Find out about the history of the use of fans during the 1700s then create your own hand-painted fan during this hands-on workshop.
Ages: 10 and up; fee: $10 per person; PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED before Wednesday, May 2nd.
