Lansdale Borough Hall's Last Day, Santa Claus Arrives and More

A look at what's going on in the area today.

Today marks the last day of operations for Lansdale Borough Hall at its 1 Vine St. location. It will close for renovations and borough operations move temporarily to West Ninth Street, off Moyer Road.

Lansdale Police and the Montgomery County District Attorney hold a press conference in Norristown at 11 a.m. announcing a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the persons responsible for the murder of Julie Barnyock, 18, in 1993.

Santa Claus arrives to Montgomery Mall at 6 p.m., escorted by Fire Department of Montgomery Township.

Beacon, a praise band at Chalfont United Methodist Church, will be holding a benefit praise concert at 7 p.m. at 11 Meadowbrook Lane in Chalfont.

Michael Johnson, Don Henry & Craig Bickhardt, with Lizanne Knott, perform tonight at Sellersville Theater.
