Football Family Debuts You Tube Channel

With just under two weeks remaining in its Kick Starter campaign, Football Family the Documentary is now a You Tube Channel.
The film, which makers expect to complete within a year, chronicles the storied career of Lansdale Catholic football coach Jim Algeo and 44 seasons of Rare Breed football.  The channel is set to show regular video updates of the project's progress.           "I believe we will reach the Kick Starter goal by the deadline," says Bridget Algeo Letukas. "I've watched a lot of football games, and I have seen many come right down to the wire. That is my prediction for this fund-raising effort."
Regardless of the outcome for the campaign, which comes to an end on Friday, August 2nd, Football Family, according to Algeo Letukas,is going to be produced.
"I feel very strongly about "plan A", which is to use a site like Kick Starter to generate interest and gather financial backing, as well as place a call for images and video.  But if we need a "plan B", then that's what we'll do. The film is getting made, no question. Success with Kick Starter will just help to keep on the fast track."
To keep supporters of Football Family in the loop, Algeo Letukas created the You Tube Channel so that anyone backing the film in any way can participate in its making.
"When I think of all the memories about to be re-told, and all the things that will happen along the way to the final product, I wanted everyone to feel involved in the whole process. Every player has stories that, together, are all part of something bigger."         You Tube, a popular site to upload and view video, seemed like the logical venue for the film's team to share regular updates.  There are currently five videos posted, including interviews with WNPV's Jeff Nolan and with national talk show host, Jeff Fisher of High School Football America.
Algeo Letukas assures, "There is more to come."
