'42 Ford Coupe Wins Best in Show at FDMT Car Show

The third annual car show to benefit Fire Department of Montgomery Township took place Saturday afternoon at Airport Square Shopping Center outside Sports Authority.

Lonny Hamilton's lime green 1942 Ford Business Coupe—complete with automatic transmission and a 383-cubic-inch engine—may have cemented his Best in Show win at the third annual Fire Department of Montgomery Township Car Show Saturday afternoon.
"I think it was, believe it or not, the color," Hamilton said. "The sun was shining and the color stood out today."
It was the second time that Hamilton was at the FDMT Car Show. This year's show was held at Airport Square in front of The Sports Authority.
"It goes to a great cause for the fire department," Hamilton said of the show. "I have a great relationship with them."
What was your favorite car at the show? The Baby Phat Volkswagen? The 400 Turbo Chevrolet Apache truck?
