The Reporter’s Brian Bingaman covered a unique Thanksgiving football tradition this week, and it didn’t involve North Penn Knights, Lansdale Catholic or the Detroit Lions.

For the second year, a neighborhood Turkey Bowl football game took place on Newport Lane in Montgomery Township Thanksgiving Day.

The neighborhood event brought out about 20 adults and youths to a cul-de-sac backyard.

The story featured comments from residents Seana Hogan, Rahul Thevar and Alexis Beverly.
