Body Found in Sellersville Park Was Suicide

A white male was found floating in the lake at Lenape Park Saturday morning

A body of a white male was found dead, floating in the lake at Lake Lenape Park in Sellersville Saturday morning.

According to Amanda Piccirilli in the Perkasie News Herald, Perkasie Borough Police confirmed by 4 p.m. Saturday that the death was a suicide.

Police were notified of the dead body at around 11 a.m. Saturday, according to the article.

Sergeant Steve Hillias of Perkasie Borough Police described the part of the lake where the body was found as “a wide portion of the creek that flows slowly," according to the article.

“At this point there is no foul play and the Bucks County coroner is investigating further,” said Hillias in the article.
