Coyotes Spotted in Towamencin

A Patch follower alerted us on Monday to numerous sightings of one or more coyotes in the Charlestowne development bordering Rittenhouse and Old Forty Foot roads in Towamencin.

Similar sightings were reported in Whitpain Township in early May, prompting officials to release a statement, which can be read by clicking here.

Though coyotes will typically run and hide from humans, they will attack smaller animals and domestic pets. Therefore, it is unwise to feed small pets outside.
