1. A public work session on the proposed Montgomery Township Recreation/Community Center is at 7 p.m. at Montgomery Township Administration. The Multi-Purpose Recreation/Community Center Needs Assessment and Feasibility Study will be presented at this meeting. Deliberation and official action may be taken on any item after the session.

2. North Penn YMCA’s “Strong Kids … Strong Community” campaign online auction ends today. Start bidding at this link.

3. Hatfield Township holds a fall leaf and branch pick-up this week, beginning at 6 a.m. Leaves must be placed curbside by 6 a.m. for pick up by J.P. Mascaro. Leaves must be in biodegradable brown bags.

4. Liberty Belles Women’s Barbershop Chorus at 7 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Lansdale, 700 N. Broad St., Lansdale.

5. A men’s book discussion is at 7 p.m. at Lansdale Library. December’s selection is “The Prince” by Niccolo Machiavelli. On Jan. 14, the group will discuss “The Hobbit.” Attend the event to take part in the discussion.
