Five Things to Know Today: December 2

The Merry TubaChristmas Concert begins at 1:15 p.m. at Railroad Plaza in Lansdale. The North Penn High School Brass Ensemble performs at 1:15 p.m., followed by the concert from 2 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. The event is free and open to all

2. Mater Dei Catholic School and St. Stanislaus Church hold a Christmas Craft Fair from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Mater Dei gymnasium. There will be crafts, raffle prizes, food and more.

3. Knights of Columbus Pius IX Council holds a Breakfast with Santa at 8:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus in Lansdale. The buffet breakfast is $9 per person, with children 2 and under free. Children can get photos with Santa and a small toy for every child. Proceeds benefit the winter coat drive and food baskets for area families in need.

4. McLean Avenue Band performs Celtic, Irish and American music tonight at Sellersville Theater at 7:30. Tickets are $25 and $39.50.

5. Ursinus College Choir and Meistersingers will perform George Handel’s “Messiah” at the college at 2:30 p.m. in Bomberger Auditorium. Tickets are $10 at the door.
