3. North Penn School District students are off today for the Thanksgiving holiday.

4. The Wives of Blue are conducting a non-perishable food drive through today at these area police departments, with donations to The Open Line:

  • Whitpain
  • Upper Perk
  • Quakertown Borough
  • Souderton Borough
  • North Wales Borough

5. There are some local events happening on Thanksgiving Eve:

  • Hattrick’s Sports Bar & Grill in Hatfield Borough is holding a Thanksgiving Eve Party at 9:30 p.m.
  • Hoots and Hellmouth play at Sellersville Theater at 8 p.m. Tickets are $19.50 and $30.
  • It’s karaoke night at Third & Walnut Bar, 43 W. Third St., Lansdale, beginning at 9 p.m.
  • Lansdale Tavern holds a trivia night beginning at 8 p.m. at its 839 W. Main St., Lansdale location.
  • Presentation of Our Lord Ukrainian Catholic Church holds a bingo night at 6:45 p.m. for $7 a card. The church is at 1564 Allentown Road, Towamencin (Lansdale GPS).
