She is the daughter of associate local editor Keith Heffintrayer and Patch photographer Kristen Heffintrayer. Evelyn Mae was born at 8:15 a.m. Thursday at Grand View Hospital. Congrats to mom and dad!

2. Oak Park Elementary and its home and school association holds an “Oak Park Let’s Move It” health and fitness fundraiser today from 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Families and local businesses have sponsored students to learn language arts and math while doing various physical activities throughout the day.

3. Lansdale Library will show “The Avengers” (PG-13) for free at 6 p.m.

4 “Sleeping Beauty (And Friends)” opens on Montgomery Theater’s Project Stage today through October 28. The show is desgined for children ages five to 12 and their families. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for children and seniors over the age of 65. More details at www.MontgomeryTheater.org.

5. The hit Off-Broadway comedy “Late Night Catechism” begins a weekend performance at Sellersville Theater with the first show tonight at 8. Tickets are $35 and $45.
