The National Weather Service has issued a river flood warning for the Perkiomen Creek at Graterford until Thursday evening. As of 2:45 p.m. Wednesday, the stage was 10.2 feet, the National Weather Service reported. Flood stage is 11 feet.
Houses on the left bank in Graterford are flooded, the National Weather Service reported.
The National Weather Service is forecasting moderate flooding and expects the river to rise above flood stage late this afternoon and continue to rise near 13.8 feet.
“The river will fall below flood stage by early tomorrow afternoon,” the National Weather Service reported.
A flood warning is in effect for Montgomery County through 6:45 p.m.
More than two inches of rain has fallen across portions of eastern Pennsylvania and another inch is expected into this evening.
