LBA Holiday Tree Display Returns in November

Businesses are invited to display a tree at an $85 or $125 cost at the annual Lansdale Business Association event, held this year at the vacant space of Urim Furniture on West Main Street.

Get out the eye-catching ornaments, tinsel, model trains and whatever else you want to use to wow onlookers this winter in Lansdale.
The Lansdale Business Association Holiday Tree Display is returning to the borough next month at 810 W. Main St., the former site of Urim Furniture Gallery.
Co-organizer Mary Schwalje, of Sign-a-rama in Lansdale, told the Economic Development Committee and Communication Commission last week that the 5,000-square-foot space was donated this year.
"We invite businesses who would like to have a tree," Schwalje said. "We have space for lots of trees and additional decorations to make it really festive this year."
Admission is free to the public.
Building owner J2E2 West Main LLC isn't the only donor of the event. Schwalje said Wes Carver Electric is donating outlets and Clemens Uniform Rental is donating rugs and red carpet for the display.
Businesses can pay $85 for a tree or $125 for a prime window spot, Schwalje said. Participation is first come-first serve.
The display opens Nov. 23, coinciding with the borough Mardi Gras Parade. It will remain open the same hours as the borough Santa House--5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays--and close up Dec. 21.
Schwalje said Lowe's is offering 30 percent off the purchase of artificial trees to be used in the event.
