NHS Human Services Hosting Holiday Party Saturday

Santa Claus will make an appearance at the annual event.

NHS Human Services in Colmar, Hatfield Township, is gearing up for its annual holiday party Saturday for more than 100 parents and children that it serves on a daily basis.
The party requires its attendees be dressed in pajamas for the Polar Express-themed celebration, featuring an oversized inflatable train. Refreshments, gift distribution and holiday arts and crafts also highlight the event.
Santa Claus will make a special appearance, where he will distribute gifts and pose with pictures with families.
"For many families, the gifts their children receive at this party are the only presents they receive during the holiday season," said M. Joseph Rocks, chairman and CEO of NHS Human Services and former State Senator from Pennsylvania's 4th District. "It's a great time for everyone and serves as a way for these families to get together and share some holiday cheer."
The event runs 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the NHS Human Services Walton Room at 2506 N. Broad St.
