Whether you need a Jack O’ Lantern for Halloween or a Fairy Tale to round out that front porch fall display, we found pick-your-own patches and farm stands that have done the work for you.

Freddy Hill Farms, 1440 Sumneytown Pike, Lansdale. Fallfest Weekends offer pick-your-own pumpkins, the Amazing Cornstalk Maze, giant slide, ice cream made on-site, pig races, hayrides, crafts, farm zoo and pony rides. Hours: Saturday and Sundays, noon to 5 p.m. Click here for the 2012 ticket list.

Merrymead Farm, 222 Valley Forge Road, Lansdale. Harvest Days are underway! Every weekend through Oct. 28, enjoy tractor hayrides, wagon rides, 700-foot cornstalk tunnel, kids' games, pumpkin painting, 5-acre cornfield maze and more. 610-584-4410. Renninger's Farm, 924 Second Ave., Royersford. Pumpkins of all shapes and sie, and gourds galore. Also find other fall favorites, like Indian corn, mums, garden and yard decor and fall crafts. Starting Oct. 20, all the pumpkins you can carry for $20. 610-948-3238. Hours: 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Sunday 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Winding Brook Farm, 3014 Bristol Road, Warrington. Autumn Agritainment includes Night Chills Haunted Hayride and Corn Walk of Horror, Pumpkin Patch, live music and other special events. 215-343-8880. Kohler Farms, 1262 Limekiln Pike, Prospectville. Pick-your-own pumpkins with hayride. Corn maze and obstacle course. Also, pumpkins, mums, gourds and scarecrows available at the farm stand. Varner's Farm, 746 S. Trappe Road (Route 113), Collegeville.  Pumpkins, 2-acre corn maze, horse-drawn wagon rides, free hot chocolate and cider, unique train display. Northern Star Farm, 96 E. Third Ave., Trappe. Fall Festival includes hayrides to pumpkin patch, petting zoo, corn maze, pony rides, food, Hay Bale Cave, apple launcher and much more. Northern Star Rodeo Oct. 13 and 14 with bull riding, barrel racing, food, music vendors, kids' activities and more. Hours: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., every Saturday and Sunday in October.

St. Peter's Episcopal Church on Easton Road in Glenside has a Pumpkin Patch every day this October. Wouldn't you want to support a local enterprise???
