Screen Door Cut, Window Screens Moved on Anders Road Home

Towamencin Township Police investigated an instance of criminal mischief, in which it appeared someone tried to determine if a window or door was unlocked on a home on the 1000 block of Anders Road

said four window screens were moved to the open position and a screen on a rear screen door was cut on a residence in the 1000 block of Anders Road between August 11 and August 18.

The homeowner reported the criminal mischief and possible attempted entry to police upon his return to his home, police said.

Police said it appeared someone was attempting to ascertain if a window or door were left unlocked.

All windows and doors were locked and no entry was gained into the home, police said.

Police urge residents to lock windows and doors to prevent entries into their homes.
