Slip 'N Slide, Live Band at Lansdale Teen Night Friday
The band Who Needs Enemies will perform at the teen event at White's Road Pool. Cost is $4 for non pool members.
The adult-sized Slip 'N Slide is coming out for White's Road Pool's Cool Eats Snack Shop's Lansdale Teen Night 2013 Friday.
The event, being put on in conjunction with Lansdale Parks and Recreation, features the band Who Needs Enemies.
It runs 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. for ages 11 to 19.
White's Road Pool members get in for free. Everyone else pays $4.
"We'll accept anyone to come in," said Parks and Recreation Director Carl Saldutti at last week's parks committee meeting. "We'll monitor it and see how it goes, and tweak it if we have to."
Saldutti said no one older than a teen will be allowed inside the pool.
"So, I can't sneak in, huh?" joked Councilwoman Mary Fuller.
Lansdale Parks and Recreation will also host a Family Fun Day on Sunday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
