UFO Sighting Reported in Hatfield

An anonymous user on the website UFO Stalker reported seeing a UFO around 3 a.m. Wednesday

An anonymous user on the website UFO Stalker reported a UFO sighting in Hatfield on Wednesday, Dec. 12 at around 3 a.m., above the 2600 block of Line Lexington Road.

The reporting user said he or she was only able to observe one lit object in the entire night sky, due to extremely thick cloud cover in the area.

The UFO, according to the report, changed shapes from a circle, to sphere to a star. It’s flight path had directional change.

The user described the UFO as a “false star” that ejects and retrieves small, lit spheres resembling tiny dots of light.

"To the unaided eye it appeared as a round, white object with a slight blue aura around the circumference. As observed on clear nights, once again it remained in one location for an inordinate amount of time. The purpose and objective of this craft is such that moving through the night sky in coordination with the other natural objects is apparently secondary to the primary goal."

The user claims to have located six other independent UFOs, but none were able to generate enough light to be seen from the ground. They claim the ejected spheres are “under intelligent control while engaged in surveillance missions.”

The specific area of Line Lexington Road is between Trewigtown Road and Merel Drive (40.273245 -75.268946).

According to the article, there have been 14 other UFO sightings in the Lansdale area. The number of sightings are up 21 percent from the previous month.

THE GEMINID METEOR SHOWER IS UNDERWAY: International observers are counting as many as 50 meteors per hour as Earth plunges into a stream of debris from rock comet 3200 Phaethon. Rates could double, or more, when the shower peaks on Dec. 13th and 14th. The best time to look is during the dark hours before dawn on Thursday and Friday. [sky map] [meteor radar] [video] This morning, Dec. 13th, Bill Metallinos caught a shadow-casting Geminid fireball streaking over Corfu, Greece: "I was setting up my telescope when suddenly there appeared a fireball so bright it made my heart beat like crazy," says Metallinos. "Spectacular moment!" Last night, NASA's network of all-sky meteor cameras detected 56 Geminid fireballs streaking over the southern United States. The multi-camera system automatically triangulates to find the orbits of any meteoroids it detects. Here is last night's orbit diagram: Orbits in the diagram are color-coded by velocity. Yellow orbits correspond to the Geminids; they are a good match to the orbit of parent rock-comet 3200 Phaethon. The other orbits are mostly random meteoroids not associated with the Geminids. The red splat marks the location of Earth. NASA says that another meteor shower, appearing for the first time this year, could add to the count of Geminids on Dec. 13th.

Montgomeryville Patch--you just now disappointed me by even printing this news in your paper. I respected your paper once, now not sure if you keep posting questionable things like this then I will probably unsubscribe.

This news site is a hyperlocal site, covering the interesting, the important and the bizarre news in the area. If "Lansdale" or a town in our surrounding community pops up on our news radar, we'll likely print it.

Wow- alot of closed minded people commenting here. Maybe just afraid to accept this could be possibly true? With the recent discovery of extra-solar earthlike planets and (water) ice in our own solar system everywhere -I think it's time to get used to the idea that life is probably everywhere in God's universe. Or we can continue ridiculing, saying angry things out of fear and denying the soon obvious fact that not only are we not alone out here but that we are not the center of the universe.
