The Lansdale Local Show Podcast: The Mahlors
Upper Gwynedd resident and musician Derek Calhoun has begun a podcast featuring the people and sounds of the rock and roll scene in the Lansdale area.
Guitarists and vocalists Justin Jones and Ryan DeHaven of The Mahlors are interviewed about life on the road, growing up in Bucks County, playing reggae-influenced rock and more.
The Mahlors hail from the Doylestown area and describe themselves as "if reggae had sex with punk, ska, dub, rocksteady, hip-hop, and jazz."
The band is signed to Downstroke Records and their album "Stay True" is available on iTunes, Amazon and Spotify. The Mahlors are wrapping up the final dates of their "Home Sweet Van" East Coast Winter tour.
