An 85-year-old Lansdale man hit by a car Wednesday night as he crossed Hancock Road from Hostelley Field at the Nor-Gwyn sports complex died from his injuries, police said.
Upper Gwynedd Police said the man was found suffering from critical injuries at the scene.
He was flown by JeffStat helicopter to Jefferson University Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries, police said.
The striking vehicle, a 2010 silver Hyundai Genesis, was travelling eastbound on Hancock Road. It was driven by a 70-year-old Montgomery Township man, police said.
The victim's name is not being released at this time at the family’s request, police said.
