Youths Enjoy County-Wide Tennis Competition
BCTA participants of Season 3’s five-week program enjoyed a friendly county-wide competition at Camp Curiosity in Doylestown during an evening of great weather and great tennis.
More than 50 parents, grandparents, siblings and friends gathered to cheer on the 17 competitors, aged 7–13, as they played singles and doubles matches, implementing the skills learned during their preceding five-week tennis program.

“The Challenge gives program participants something to work for and showcases their skills for family members and friends,” BCTA Treasurer Laura Canfield noted. “The kids have a lot of fun playing tennis and meeting new friends from around the county.”
In addition to match play that included helpful game strategies and tips offered by BCTA coaches, the youths participated in group games and the always-popular hit-for-prizes activity, during which they earn free tennis merchandise.
